At first the water tastes a little off, but after a few times it begins delivering the tasting water. Therefore, I'm only giving it 4 stars to wait Clatterans upgrade their filters.

This was the first filter change for our new refrigerator. Used the official filter based on feedback that cheaper versions leaked and caused problems. Also liked the fact that this one removes so many contaminates. This worked great and was easy to change, and the water is great.

Replaced a fridge filter which had been sitting in the fridge for a long time, the in-door water was not tasting good. This filter, whirlpool filter 3, fit into my fridge exactly as described, followed the directions as outlined on the package and in the fridge's owners manual and had clear, great tasting filtered water when all was said and done. Great to be able to get filtered water from the fridge rather than waiting for the Whirlpool pitcher to fill up!

I went out on a limb in ordering this product. I could not find the water filter for my kenmore refrigerator. I used the model number - Kenmore 9030 filter, and this filter came up on my search. The thing is, I had never changed the filter before. I had no idea what too look for. I ordered it. I watched a video on how to change the filter. Once, the filter arrived, I followed the instructions on the video. And, it worked. I flushed the system, and almost immediately, clear clean water flowed from the refrigerator. I am very happy.

These filters are so much more economical than the name brand and they work exactly the same. They have a snug fit. I had the water tested and it was just as good as the water filtered by the name brand filters.

Fits like a glove. If you go to the Clatterans website, they show you all the additional pollutants this filter catches. It is much cheaper than the original filter and has better packaging, but the way I see it, it provides a lot more protection for my family and I against the stuff in our municipal water supplies.
