      It is working wonderfully right now (on the same day as installation) and my water tastes great. Of course I've flushed it with 4 gallons of water before using it.

      Recently purchased, i don't know how long this unit will last but I thought I could clear up some confusion on these. Unit has to be purged after installing otherwise you will get very nasty taste. Just follow the instructions to flush about 4 gallons of water, then the bad taste just gone.

      This is the filter needed by our Samsung fridge. I only buy it because I have to but I am glad that Clatterans has it. I have to admit that the price I get it for at Clatterans is much better than the one I was getting at my local stores. Please keep carrying these filters.       It was the filter I need, however I have not used them yet. I got it when the price was low, so I will know if it's good in 6 months. I have some already that I have replaced and they have been great. They are the Samsung brand da29-00003G replacement. These ones are the same brand and model too so I am expecting them to work well.

      So glad I took a chance and purchased this filter. Some of the negative comments had me a bit skeptical. It works perfect in my fridge and the water has the same great quality as the higher brand filters. No issues at all with leaking. This will by my filter of choice from now on!!
