50022 Series
41169 Series

50029 Series
1. Locate the water filter in the top-right corner of the refrigerator compartment and open the cover door. The filter will be released and then be ejected as the door is opened.
2. When the door is completely open, pull the filter straight out.
NOTE: There may be some water in the filter. Some spilling may occur. Use a towel to wipe up any spills.
3. Take the new filter out of its packaging and remove the covers from the O-rings. Be sure the O-rings are still in place after the covers are removed.
4. With the arrow pointing to the left (toward the filter cover door’s hinge), align the new filter with the filter housing and slide it into place. The filter cover door will automatically begin to close as the new filter is inserted.
5. Close the filter cover door completely in order to snap the filter into place. You may need to press hard.
6. Run water from the dispenser for 5 minutes at .5 gpm (about 2½ gallons) to clear the system and prevent sputtering.
NOTE: Initial rate may be slower than expected. Full rate should be restored within 24-36 hour
7. Reset the “replace filter” light, if needed, by holding the reset button for three seconds.

This product came fast, exactly as shown, and fits perfect! I followed the directions flushing 4 gallons of water and I noticed a significant difference in taste compared to my outdated filter.
I will definitely purchase it again.

Used with my refrigerator. I have had no complaints from anyone else in my house about the water taste. I think this one does a perfect job in my opinion of providing crisp, clean water.

These filters seem to work well. When I replace mine, I can see all sorts of yucky stuff that - I guess - we would have drunk if not for the filters. They fit well and appear to be well made. This is my second or third purchase of this item.

My water tastes good again. The filters I used to buy for my fridge are no longer available so I had to find an alternative. I tried some that didn't work well at all. These do a really good job filtering out the chlorine taste and still have good water flow.
How often should you replace your water filter?
- On average, most filters last 6 months or 300 gallons depending on your water quality and usage.
How do I turn off my filter light to reset?
- If the filter light will not reset after following specific instructions from your owner manual, contact your refrigerator manufacturer.
Do the gaskets (o-rings) on the filters need to be lubricated?
- Most water filters come with pre-lubricated O-rings
- If you are having trouble installing the filter, we have found that a small amount of vegetable oil applied to the O-ring will ease installation and removal of the filter.
I just installed my filter; do I need to run water through it before I drink the water? If so, how much?
- You should run 3 gallons of water through your filter in order to flush it and make sure that it is thoroughly wet. Do not run the 3 gallons continuously, instead run the water for a few minutes and stop in between. Get a gallon water container, and pour and refill 3 times!
