      Fits perfect in my Kenmore fridge. Takes about 3 gallons of water to filter out the black carbon. A marked improvement over city water taste. As described, very content with these filters from Clatterans.

      These are fine replacements although they are pretty expensive and with our soft, clean city water, I am not sure they really do anything.

      Awesome filter... am I really writing a review on a filter?? Yep, when the filter does its job perfectly. Replaced my filter today with the filter 4 and it is great. Water is clear, clean and tastes like it has no taste. Cold and clear water, just what my family needs. Be sure and install it fully (read your manual). I had a bit of air in the line so be ready for a minor explosion of air and a bit of water. Be sure and prime the filter clear by running an appropriate amount of water through the line. Unless you prefer milky colored water for your first few glasses you will understand my comment.

      Excellent Whirlpool filter replacement. Fits our refrigerator and works great. Will recommend to anyone who needs to replace their old filters.
