      Why pay prices for a authentic piece? This W10143645A is a filter for heaven's sake. Save money & buy these, they work just the same. It's like buying parts for your car. Some people spend the extra money for genuine parts, ok if you want to.

      Just what was needed for our Whirlpool refrigerator. BE SURE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND RUN 4 GALLONS OF WATER THRU AFTER INSTALLATION. Much cheaper than the old Whirlpool Filter 3.

      Awesome Magtag UKF 8001 filter... am I really writing a review on a filter? Yep, when the filter does its job perfectly. Tried the cheaper ones and something didn't taste right. Replaced my filter today with this and it's great. Water is clear, clean and does taste like it has no taste. Cold and clear water, just what my family needs.

      Although the water was crystal clear after 1 1/2 gals, I followed the directions of clearing the new Whirlpool EDR4RXD1 filter using 4 gals. of water. No any noise and fresh and tasting water came out.

      The flow rate on this filter (0.66gpm) is so much better than the generic replacement I had bought while trying to save money (0.5gpm,) that it's easily worth the premium price (and this Clatterans price is better than I found anywhere else.) I had a store brand filter from T H*ME D**OT in my Maytag french door refrigerator. The family complained that it took too long to fill glasses; the Keurig reservoir took FOREVER! I timed the old one, it took almost exactly 60 seconds to fill a 1 quart jug. This new EDR4RXD1 filter filled the same jug in 32 seconds.

      Seems to work fine so far, It’s hard to reorder filter 2 replacement and not always easily to find correct new model. Better price the buying local .
