      Our water tastes pretty great to begin with so that's probably why we didn't notice a difference between this new filter (whirlpool 4396841) and the previous model. I can't say if it helps bad water but I can say it doesn't take anything away from already good water. And I'm very picky with water since it's the only thing I drink other than tea and coffee.

      Best price I've found for this thus far. The Water is crisp and taste amazing. This new Whirlpool refrigerator water filter 1 fits my fridge very well, so I must give a Five Stars review!

      I bought this to use with my Whirlpool fridge. It was easy to install. Per the packaging instructions, I ran 4 gallons of water through the filter before drinking. It sputtered a bit in the beginning but that is normal. The flow of the water is great and it tastes good to me! Will gladly purchase this product again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a water filter.

      The installation is much easier than that of my last water filter. Frankly speaking, compared with others I' ve bought, this Kenmore 9930 Water Filter is much cheaper, and it fits my fridge perfectly - strong flow, good taste, clean& clear water...but the shipping is a little slow for me..

      Works good and water tastes fresh. Expect for that, the price is absolotely the lowest among the refrigerator water filters I've used. And I love the installation, cause it's so easy and it just took me a few minutes to install it.

      I used to use PUR W10177635, too expensive for me to shop on the original PUR shop, service is not so good. Now I tried this, does have a taste and I flushed 2 gallons through it. May depend on different preferences.
