For whatever reason the city water does not taste good. I bought this clone version filter and run a few gallons through it before we drink water from it. There is a blatantly obvious difference and the water is actually pleasant to drink now.

I had no problem with the installation. it fits perfectly. Run about 4 gallon of water through as instructed to remove air and any sediment. Then the water tastes great.

We ordered two of these from Clatterans and were a little nervous as we've never been purchased here before. Luckily, this filter works perfectly. We have purchased other brands but this one will be our future choice, as is priced better and works just as good!

This filter performed well in our 5-year-old Whirlpool refirgerator, and the water from the fridge is cold, clean and odorless. I'm buying this filter every six months from Clatterans because it is consistently less expensive than you-know-where.

Recently bought this for our refrigerator. Our "change filter" light had been on for awhile, and I'd put off ordering one..until recently. This filter was exactly like the one that was in the refrig. Easy to install, ran water through filter, catching it in a glass container to see if it was cloudy or had flecks of carbon. It turned out that water was very clear, no carbon flecks and tasted great.
