This is a good filter that does a pretty good job making our really crappy Akron water taste acceptable. Compatible with Whirlpool filter 3 perfectly. This is the second time I bought this filter and will buy it again.

I didn't want to spend the extra money on this higher end filter, but I thought I would give it a try. I must say the water does come out much cleaner and faster! After you instal the filter you are supposed to run it a few times before you can drink it. On my previous cheaper filter the water keeps coming out a bit cloudy until about the 6th time you run it. With this filter after the 2nd turn it was already looking clear, but because of using the other filter for so long I went ahead and ran it 5 times just incase. The water does taste cleaner and always looks clear. I feel better knowing that for a few more bucks I can get something safer for my family and myself. At least the drinking water is super clean!

Good Product, last long. It's the whirlpool water filter for the fridges. Works well and we continue with the same ones. I think the prior manufacturer might've had a better taste but kinda impossible to get them now.

Works well, easy to install and a reasonable price. This is my third purchase of this filter 9030 and I'm quite happy with the product. I haven't noticed any bad smells or off flavors from the water passed through this filter although we have pretty good water quality here in the Pacific Northwest straight from the tap.

Great product. Installed easily! Will continue to buy when the filter needs to be replaced. Wish they weren't so pricey, but the water quality is amazing!
