      Same as what came with the refrigerator. We go through such ice and water that I have to change ours about every two months. Yes: You do have to run about 2 to 3 gallons of water after changing filters to get good, clear water.

      The water and ice with this filter taste great and that is why I gave it five stars. In my opinion, you can save yourself the web surfing time and just get this filter if it fits your refrigerator. My old filter was stuck in the up position and I could not get a grip on it to remove it. I took a small hammer and tapped the filter on the side at the rear and it came loose so I could pull the filter downward and twist it counter-clockwise to remove it. It took more effort than I expected to twist off but that may not be typical. Twist the new filter on clockwise, push it up and close the cover. Run water for two minutes to purge the filter. Enjoy the clean tasty water.

      Worked great for our model number - same model number listed on the package. Perfect fit, no problems. You do have to PUSH it in to get it set, but once it's in, there's no problem and it works great. Will definitely buy again.

      I did a bad thing. I purchased this filter then read the reviews. Only the negative ones. I thought my goodness what have I done? I was going to send it right back. On a chance, I read a positive review that somewhat explained what most negatives were having and how to correct the issue per the instructions on the filter. So my big moment arrives and I pull out the filter my Jenn-Air came with from the factory. I just started to laugh as it was the exact same filter I had in my fridge for over 6 months with zero problems.
