      There are many recent reviews of this product. Being a diligent clatterans user I listened and ordered the Whirlpool water filter 4396841 that has back stock. Well they sent me the new filters! So I gave it a try. The packaging mentions it is a IAPMO Certified product. I popped it in, ran out a gallon. The water was clear and taste like nothing-just how I like my water. I will update as appropriate for longevity. I found the filters to be good for 3-4 months in the summer and 4-5 months in winter ( we drink much more in the summer)

      These filters are just like the original blue ones and are very good at getting the water too taste pretty neutral. The price is also competitive. I really couldn't believe that I can find such good product.

      I've been using one of these for a few months. I no longer drink bottled water. Before I did not like the taste of our water, with this filter it tastes great. I LOVE that they donate part of the proceeds to bring fresh water to people that don't have it. Changing peoples' lives! I support charities that do this also, you should to if you can.

      Installation went smoothly. My old filter in my fridge gave the bad and salty water. It was so old and I don't know when I was last replaced. But after I update Kenmore water filter 46-9030, I don't need to bear that kind of water any more. but I had friends over and they could taste it and made comments which was kind of pleasure.

      I have an old side by side Kenmore fridge and was trying to find a filter that didn't cost too much, but still filtered everything out. This filter does the trick perfectly, fit like OEM, and tastes great!
