      There is some cloudiness after the first flush due to the carbon. After a couple galloons, the cloudiness is gone. The filter is ready to go. I did notice better drinking water quality. Depending on how much water is dispensed, this filter should last up to 6 months. It is easy to install and the price is fine.

      Product was received on time. Followed the directions to filter out the galloons specified before drinking the water. I had no problems, and the water tastes great. Will buy it again.

      Wonderful water filter. I hadn't changed my water filter since I purchased the refrigerator back in 2009. I know, crazy. I'm not a water drinker and my wife drinks bottled water. I had noticed that the ice had an aftertaste. I thought it was from the food in the fridge. It wasn't until I started reading about the bacteria or metals in water that could cause bodily harm. After doing a lot of reading and comparison shopping on water filters, I found the perfect filter here on Clatterans. Within several days, I tasted a noticeable difference in my ice. It no longer had that aftertaste or smell. I am very pleased and feel healthier. Great filter and the price is just right.

      We bought this Whirlpool filter 1 to replace the old one. It's no issues with installation and fits our fridge, but the shipping is not as far as I expected...

      Good filter. Water is visually clear and tastes clean. Price is a bit pricey but lasted us about 6 months so not bad. I do wish it had a clear area for one to see how much dirt it has filtered out from getting into your glass. Easy to install.

      I have no sophistication in water quality, other than taste, smell and visuals. I replaced the 67003526 water filter in our Kitchen Aid fridge, the replaced filter was way past due. The ice showed improvement within 2-3 cycles, with cubes looking much clearer. Also, at the end of an iced beverage, there was no mineral residue in the bottom of the glass. I put fridge filter replace in my calendar for 9-months based upon the initial estimate of our water quality and usage.
