      If you have a Whirlpool refrigerator, this is the best filter one should consider. I tried a competitor's and it leaked, didn't fit well and ended up returning them. This filter works perfectly, albeit, could be more reasonably priced.

      I read the reviews of other water filters and keep thinking the same thing: "Why would I change?" This UKF8001 keeps up a good flow, filters excellently, and never lets me down. If I try to save a few bucks with a cheaper replacement, I see people complain about flow rate, taste, longevity, or all of the above. You get what you pay for: Just make it easy and buy this one.

      Super love the new filter for my Amana. The water tastes better and flows better (quieter). It does take priming, but once it breaks in it is golden.
