I didn't want to spend the extra money on this higher end filter, but I thought I would give it a try. I must say the water does come out much cleaner and faster! After you install the filter you are supposed to run it a few times before you can drink it. On my previous cheaper filter the water keeps coming out a bit cloudy until about the 6th time you run it. With this filter after the 2nd turn it was already looking clear, but because of using the other filter for so long I went ahead and ran it 5 times just incase. The water does taste cleaner and always looks clear. I feel better knowing that for a few more bucks I can get something safer for my family and myself. At least the drinking water is super clean!
